CRAZY CAT LADY

Series

Cathy Bannon, a socially-challenged, single woman in her early 30’s, with seven cats, tries to find love and happiness. But the cats have a different agenda for her life. She is a modern woman who likes men and is a serial dater. She has a hard time committing to any man, possibly because she is in love with one of her best friends, Randy.

She is a popular food blog writer. She spends most of her day writing about restaurants and rating them for a popular blog. At night she goes out to these restaurants and critiques people’s food. She seems to live the life of Reilly, but not so. She is lonely and single.

She is not good with relationships and even amongst her female friends she’s selfish and self-centred. She is a maven of pop culture but lacks any real culture.

Her solace comes from her active dating life and her seven cats. Each of the cats is anthropomorphized into their own personality. She loves her cats more than people.

Her cats know a good thing when they have it. They rule the house and treat her like the slave that they want her to be.

CATHY BANNON

A popular food blogger for the Food ReVue - the most famous blog about food. She can make or break a restaurant. She is single and on the search for love. An avid animal lover, she ends up taking in 4 cats and 3 fosters – all who have different personalities. She has a love/hate relationship with her mother and her friend Janine.

GIGI

Is a sleeper. She is always sleeping draped over some furniture. She only wakes for food and to find a different place to sleep.

PUDDIN'

Was an actor cat. He has appeared in many commercials and movies. He still wants to be treated like he is the star of the show.

BUSTER

Is a curious cat. He likes to find areas to hide and has an active imagination thinking he is a jungle cat.

OZZY

Is a scaredy cat. He must have had a tragic past before he was adopted, and will scatter if there is someone new.

He doesn't trust anyone

or anything.

LILY

likes to play and run. Any time of the day or night. It could be four in the morning and she will find the most annoying sounding thing and attack it.

FLURRY

Gets into trouble. He tries to figure out all of the human things. What are these blinds? What is this box of cords? Flurry will find a way to

get tangled.

EMOJI

A white female kitten that has been found at near a dumpster. She is new to the world and afraid. Cathy brings her home and the cats treat her like a kid. She is constantly trying to be an adult.

GARY

Is a mouse that visits the house because of the abundance of food, but he lives outside and is certainly worldly. He knows a thing or two about survival. He also has an opinion about Cathy's dating life.

BARRY
Janine’s husband. He’s a watching football, cooking BBQ, has power tools kind of guy. He lacks any sort of artistic bone and he doesn’t get what Cathy does. He’s a plumber who’s passion is porcelain and taps.

JANINE
Cathy’s best friend who she has known all of her life. She has kids and a husband and her life is somewhat traditional. She has a life that Cathy strives for, but

doesn’t really understand how complacent her live is.

TARA

She works at the local bar where they all hang out and is sleeping with Randy. Cathy doesn't like and is jealous of her.

RANDY

A slick sales man who is always trying to find clients. He is quite the lady’s man and he is always picking up women with his charm. Cathy moved into the area because of their history. He is the one that got away because he didn’t want to stay.

FIONA

Cathy’s rival at her company. She is a phony and tries to be the best at everything. She won't stop until she is at the top of the corporate

ladder. Even if it means

sabotaging everyone and everything.

SETH

The guy that Cathy has a little crush on, because she can’t have Randy. They end up having a little bit of a relationship, but Cathy keeps him at arm's length because of her feelings for Randy.

IRENE AND MANNY

Cathy’s parents. To Manny, she is the perfect daughter whom he dotes upon as a loving father should. To Irene, she’s found the perfect relationship with her husband and doesn’t really like her daughter that much. Does what she can for her, but tries to avoid her at all costs.
